The wooden seed boxes are a special offer to customers, who tend their own witch garden. They are pryographed, stained and varnished by hand. Hence each box is individual and numbered at the bottom.
The “Black Flowers” box contains seeds exclusively for black or nearly black flowering plants, such as oriental hellebore, poppy, pansy, columbine, bat flower, Himalayan mandrake (new), Egyptian henbane (new), black cosmea (new) and more. This time I am also including seeds for some black fruit plants, such as chilli peppers, black sweet corn and “black cherry” tomatoes. Altogether the box contains seeds for 30 different black flowers and fruits. Perfect for starting your own Gothic black flower garden and keeping your most cherished seeds save!
This box was available for pre-order. 2019 edition of 11 boxes.
The box lid is pyrographed with a variant of the “Sigillum Major” or “Greater Sowing Seal”, which is also the official logo of Teufelskunst. If you are familiar with my work, you recognize the symbols from the regular seed boxes. For the black flower theme I combined these with a five-fold circle geometry. On the inside the box is pyrographed with the “Sigillum Minor” or “Lesser Sowing Seal”. The flower seeds come in small paper bags, each labeled and sealed. The seeds are partly gathered from my garden and partly purchased from other gardeners.
With your box you also receive printed instructions for sowing and plant care. It is my hope that the content of these boxes will bring joy to others and aid them in their own studies. Extent info on each herb and its cultivation are provided on my garden blog.
Note: Please respect that these boxes are a special offer, which is available only once a year. During the time I invest into these little treasuries I put other work aside. I hence have to sell them, once finished, as fast as possible. You can email me to be added to a reservation list for future seed boxes. If you pay in advance you can be sure to receive one of the next batch.
