The ‘Wolfsbane’ sigil is among the oldest works in this series and a popular motif among my plant inspired sigils. It is an abstract vision of the infamous aconite (Aconitum). There are several species of aconite I work with; the version of the sigil shown here is specifically connected to the yellow wolfsbane (Aconitum lamarckii), which thrives in my garden and grows bigger with each year that passes. In the sigil I summarize folklore and personal experiences related to this powerful magical plant, which carries plenty of baneful attributions. This is an illustrative version of the sigil featuring a wolf skull. I made a similar design for German doom band WERIAN, who use it in their stage rituals.
You can now purchase an original ensouled ink drawing of the sigil. The motif is drawn with black India ink on coffee stained paper, which has been infused with sap from the leaves and flowers of aconite plants from my garden and wormwood tincture. Each sigil talisman is signed and dated on the back.
You receive an original talisman similar to the one shown here. Please note, that each paper talisman is unique and whilst the motif is the same, can have slight variations and differences in texture. The green color comes from the plant’s own chlorophyll and may change if exposed to sun light.
