Datura Seeds

Description

Offering seeds from my Datura plants (Datura metel var. Fastuosa, Datura innoxia, Datura stramonium, Datura ferox)! The seeds were gathered in 2023. New seeds will be available end of summer 2024. Available are the following variants:

• Dark Purple Filled Datura (Datura metel var. ‘Fastuosa’ “Black Currant Swirl”)
• Yellow Filled Datura (Datura metel var. ‘Fastuosa’ “Golden Queen”)
• Long Spined Thornapple (Datura ferox)
• Toloache (Datura innoxia)
• Common Thornapple (Datura stramonium)

You receive at least 11 seeds of each.

Note: these seeds are also included in this year’s edition of wooden seed boxes!

Germination: Datura seeds usually require warm temperatures and germinate within 1-3 weeks. It is of adavantage to prime the seeds in tepid water over night and then sow them ca. 1 cm deep. Provide even moistness and temperatures around 20°C. Datura stramonium may also be fine with 16°C. The stramonium seeds have been gathered from large wild growing thornapple plants.
